Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes the personal information that Advantmed, LLC and its affiliates (“Advantmed,” “we,” or “us”) collect when you visit our website or interact with our business representatives (collectively, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy also describes how we use and share that information, the choices you have, and how you can contact us if you have questions or concerns. 

This Privacy Policy does not apply to personal information that we collect or receive in connection with providing services to health plans or other covered entities pursuant to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”) and our agreements with our customers.

While using our Site and Services, you may be prompted to enter personal information and consent to be contacted by Advantmed via mail, email, telephone, automatic telephone dialing system, by artificial/pre-recorded message, or text message. By consenting, You expressly consent to receive phone calls, text messages, and email from Advantmed regardless of whether You are on any Federal or state DNC (“Do Not Call”) and/or DNE (“Do Not Email”) list or registry. Advantmed does not charge You for sending or receiving text messages.

Personal Information We Collect

Information you provide to us may include:

  • Contact details, such as your company’s name, your first and last name, email address, state, and phone number, if you choose to provide this information.
  • Scheduling information, such as preferred appointment times, preferred contact details, and the name of your health plan.
  • Communications that we exchange with you, including when you contact us with questions, feedback, or otherwise.
  • Marketing information, such as your preferences for receiving communications about our services, and details about how you engage with our communications.
Automatic data collection.

We and our service providers may automatically log information about you, your computer or mobile device, and your interaction over time with our Services, such as:

  • Device data, such as your computer’s or mobile device’s operating system, manufacturer and model, browser type, IP address, unique identifiers, language settings, mobile device carrier, and general location information such as city, state or geographic area; and
  • Usage data, such as pages or screens you viewed, how long you spent on a page, browsing history, and access times.

We may collect this information using cookies and other similar technologies. Cookies, which are text files that websites store on a visitor‘s device or in the browser for the purpose of helping you navigate between pages efficiently, remembering your preferences, enabling functionality, and helping us understand user activity and patterns.

Information we collect from third parties.

We may maintain third-party social media pages, such as pages on LinkedIn. If you interact with us via these pages, we may receive your communications and other information about your interactions with us. Any information collected by the social media companies that maintain our pages is governed by the privacy policies of the providers and is not within our control.

How We Use Personal Information

We use your personal information for the following purposes:

To provide and improve the Services and respond to your inquiries. This includes:

  • Administering, hosting, and operating the Services;
  • Communicating with you and responding to any inquiries you may have;
  • Analyzing your use of the Services to allow us to evaluate and improve the Services and its features; and
  • Creating aggregated, de-identified or anonymous statistics, which we may use for lawful business purposes, including for Services analytics and strategic planning.
Business promotion.

We may use personal information to promote our business, including by sending information that may be relevant to you by email, mail, telephone and other means. We engage our advertising partners, including third party advertising companies and social media companies, to advertise our services. For compliance and protection, including to enforce any applicable terms and conditions, comply with legal obligations, defend against legal claims or disputes, protect the security and integrity of the Services, and identify and investigate fraudulent, harmful, unauthorized, unethical or illegal activity.

How We Share Personal Information

We may share your personal information with:

  • Affiliates. Affiliated companies for purposes consistent with this Privacy Policy.
  • Service providers. Companies and individuals that provide services on our behalf or help us operate our Services or our business (such as hosting, information technology, support, email delivery, and website analytics services).
  • Professional advisors. Professional advisors, such as lawyers, auditors, bankers and insurers, where necessary in the course of the professional services that they render to us.
  • Advertising partners. We may share personal information with third-party advertising companies for the business promotion purposes described above.

Your Choices
Unsubscribe from marketing communications.

You may opt out of our marketing-related communications by following the opt out or unsubscribe instructions contained in the marketing communication we send you. We may continue to send you administrative communications that are necessary for our relationship with you, such as relevant updates to our policies.

Depending on where you reside, you may have the following rights:

  • Information. You may have the right to obtain information about how we collect, use, and share your personal information. We provide this information within this Privacy Policy.
  • Access, correction and deletion. You may also have the right to request access to your personal information, to correct personal information that is out of date or inaccurate, or to delete personal information that is no longer needed for a permitted purpose. If you have questions about we handle your personal information or if you believe your information is inaccurate or has been collected in error, please contact us as provided in the ‘Contact ’ section and we will endeavor to resolve your questions or concerns. We may ask for specific information from you to help us confirm your identity. Where these rights apply, you can empower an authorized agent to submit the request on your behalf in accordance with applicable law. You are entitled to exercise these rights free from discrimination.
  • Sharing personal information and targeted advertising. We use cookies on our Services to help us advertise our services on other websites or services you might visit. We share information with advertising networks and analytics partners to support our interest-based advertising, which may qualify as a sale or sharing of personal information, or targeted advertising, under applicable law. You can opt-out of our use or sharing of personal information for these purposes by using our “Your Privacy Choices / Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” tool or by enabling the Global Privacy Control setting within the browser that you use to access our Service. We do not have actual knowledge that we have sold or shared the personal information of children under the age of 16.
Online tracking opt-out.

There are a number of ways to limit online tracking, which we have summarized below:

To do this, follow the instructions in your browser settings. Many browsers accept cookies by default until you change your settings. Do Not Track.

Data Security

We employ a number of technical, organizational and physical safeguards designed to protect the personal information we collect. However, no security measures are failsafe and we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information.

Data Retention

The length of time we retain personal information will be determined based upon the following criteria: the length of time your personal information remains relevant; the length of time it is reasonable to keep records to demonstrate that we have fulfilled our duties and obligations; any limitation periods within which claims might be made; any retention periods prescribed by law or recommended by regulators, professional bodies or associations; the type of contract we have with you, and our business interest in keeping such information as stated in this Privacy Policy.

Children

The Services are not intended for use by children. If we learn that we have collected personal information through our Services from a child without the consent of the child’s parent or guardian as required by law, we will delete it.

Job Applicants

When you apply for a job with us, we collect the information that you provide to us in connection with your job application. This includes but is not limited to business and personal contact information, professional credentials and skills, educational and work history and other information of the type that may be included in a resume. This may also include diversity information that you voluntarily provide. We use this information on the basis of our legitimate business interests to facilitate our recruitment activities and process employment applications, such as by evaluating a job candidate for an employment activity, to monitor recruitment statistics and to respond to surveys. We may also use this information to provide improved administration of the Services and as otherwise necessary (i) to comply with relevant laws or to respond to subpoenas or warrants served on us, (ii) to protect and defend our or others’ rights or property, (iii) in connection with a legal investigation and (iv) to investigate or assist in preventing any violation or potential violation of the law, this Privacy Policy or our terms of use.

Health Assessment Terms and Conditions
  • Your Health Assessment is a visit between you and a provider on behalf of your health plan. We will only message you regarding appointment reminders, cancellations, or rescheduling. Advantmed LLC, will sometimes follow up on how your experience during the visit was but will never use your contact information for other marketing purposes.
  • You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to the short code. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.
  • If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at 1-800-395-0683.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages
  • Message frequency varies.
  • As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies. You may be informed of an unexpected cancellation that will require rescheduling. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you by updating the date of this Privacy Policy and posting it on the Services.
